Selection of roll tooth profile and roll tooth layout

Comparison of schemes
The roller teeth adopted in Scheme 1 are convex circular edge teeth to reduce the over-crushing phenomenon caused by the commonly used olecranon roller teeth. When the roller teeth of ordinary pyramid meshing with another roller are broken, because the edge of the roller teeth is a straight line and the opposite roller is an arc, the distance between the top of the roller teeth of one roll and the surface of the other roller, namely the maximum discharge particle size, constantly changes with the rotation of the roller. Therefore, the arrangement size of circular edge teeth is more uniform than that of ordinary edge teeth. And the particle size of the broken material in different parts of the teeth edge of the ordinary prisms roller is different, which will lead to uneven contact stress, serious local wear, reduce the service life of the teeth plate, increase the maintenance workload, and have an adverse impact on the production 1.
Scheme 2 adopts a different tooth shape and arrangement form from scheme 1. Its unique feature is that screws are used to connect the tooth sleeve with the wheel hub, and the roller crushing material is rolled between the teeth. It has the crushing efficiency which cannot be reached by the meshing of the roller surface and the roller teeth in the old crusher. The blade made of alloy is installed on the crushing tooth so that it can break hard materials, and when the crushing tooth wear is serious, only need to replace the blade, increase the service life of the crusher, the advantages are high efficiency, wear resistance, long service life, can break hard materials.
Scheme 3 uses the broken teeth to connect with the mandrel through the key, and realizes the spiral arrangement of the broken teeth on the mandrel by changing the keyway Angle on the broken teeth, which not only realizes the crushing effect of scheme 2, but also uses the key connection is easier than the traditional hub and roll teeth connection, has the advantages of simple structure and convenient installation, it is a new design way.
In summary, among the three schemes, scheme 3 is more suitable for the design requirements of double-toothed roll crusher, so Scheme 3 is selected as the tooth shape and roll tooth layout design of double-toothed roll crusher.
The innovation of this project is that most of the traditional crushers use 1 or several pairs of roller teeth to crush the bulk materials. And the installation of these rollers on the shaft is mostly aligned on the shaft, that is, their installation keys are in the same spatial Angle. This kind of traditional crusher doesn't work very well.
